Kevin Hoffmeyer's thoughts on Chile

In a short amount of time, the group has developed a basic understanding of the Chilean economy, major business sectors, and the people. Our pace has been steady, but the best way to increase learning is from the immersion and direct exposure that we have encountered.

Our hosting companies to date have been extremely gracious and willing to answer all of our questions posed - no matter the sensitivity. This openness to develop our learning of Chile has been appreciated by all. As we have also witnessed, an MBA covering the ‘big picture’ of business is beneficial for leadership and entrepreneurial success.

Thanks to Austral for their coordination of activities and added insight of the Chilean culture and economy. I truly look forward to the remaining company discussions and the opportunity to meet personnel from my Corp. based in Santiago tomorrow.
