Jennifer Fredricks' reflections

Chile is truly an amazing place! Both its government and private structures are open to implementing new methodology, which is serving them well.

I find it refreshing that Chile is not attempting to be or become a world power. Through their quiet evolution, Chile continues to develop and advance its people through innovative fiscal rules. The business community, though holding a healthy competitive spirit, works together to promote Chile in general. This was evident by speaking with a major exporter of avocados and table grapes as well as with a local winery. They both praised the work of competitors as helping to "get Chile on the map" and appreciate their size and scale, while continuing to forge ahead. The commitment to sustainability, mindfulness of carbon footprint and celebrating their own uniqueness makes Chile a country to watch as implementation quietly continues.
